theSQUAD - A Celebration of Women

Yesterday was International Women’s Day and it goes without saying that women’s accomplishments and achievements deserve to be celebrated year round, but I’ll take an extra day or month to put an explanation point on how incredible women are.

Last week I was reconnecting with a former client and she asked me how my coaching has changed since I became a Mother. It threw me off for a moment because I’ve examined how my entire life has changed since becoming a Mother, but I hadn’t really explored how it impacts the way I show up as a coach. After a few moments of contemplation and stumbling over my words of what I think I should say in the moment, I decided to be super vulnerable. Here is where I landed.

Contrary to what people might think about me, before Motherhood there was a part of me that was introverted and felt self-conscious at times, I also cared what people think about me. Some of that still might be true (if I’m being SUPER honest) but the thing about Motherhood is that it has shown me just how powerful I am. So how that has translated into my work is that when you work with me, you are working with a woman who so fiercely stands in her power that YOU have no choice but to do the same in your own life.

One way I’ve done that is through my group coaching program called theSQUAD. theSQUAD is a program that I hold dear to my heart and it was actually birthed while I was pregnant. I have run it three times in the last year and a half. This year I will only be running this program two times – one starting in April and once at the end of the year. theSQUAD is a 4 month group coaching program that is open for six(6) courageous women who can’t afford not to experience how powerful they really are

Over the last year and a half theSQUAD has created:

  • Deeper connections to their partner

  • Having the courage to quit a job that wasn’t serving them

  • Getting a promotion (x2)

  • Feeling confident in their body

  • Creating and stepping into a dream job

  • Less self-judgments, more self-love

  • Creating deep and meaningful connections with other women

  • Showing up in a sacred space that allows other women to be seen and celebrated

  • Creating consistency and movement against their heart felt goals

  • Creating boundaries in relationship

  • Advocating for themselves at work and in relationship

  • Identifying their needs, wants and values and speaking them into existence

  • Trusting themselves more

The list goes on and I am in deep admiration for the women of theSQUAD and celebrate them every damn day! These are the women that I celebrated yesterday on International Women’s Day.

If any of this resonates with you, I invite you to reach out and let’s have a conversation about you joining theSQUAD. We start in April and it will fill up fast!

Big love! xx
